The Royals are back…… no not Harry & Meghan, Lancashire Rugby’s Community County Squad. Now in its 4th Year nearly 100 players from 22 Lancashire Clubs (Level 5 to Level 9) have had the honour to pull on the Lancashire Shirt.
Yet again the Royals will play 3 Fixtures over the course of the season with the first outing scheduled for Saturday 30th November when their Cheshire counterparts “The Harvesters” visit Tyldesley RUFC for a game that kicks off at 2pm.
The now Annual Christmas fixture versus the iconic Anti-Assassins RUFC will take place on Saturday 28th December at a venue to be announced. The final Royals game will be against Eastern Counties Wanderers on Saturday 16th May prior to the Senior County Fixture on the same day.
The Royals will be looking for new or old players when they hold their Trial at Wigan RUFC on Tuesday 22nd October 7.30pm. The eligible Lancashire Clubs listed below are cordially invited to nominate a maximum of FOUR players to Trial.
