Lancashire Rugby Mentoring Scheme
The Mentoring programme runs alongside the Development Centre initiative and offers Club Coaches an experienced mentor to bounce ideas from and help with the delivery of coaching within the club environment. For many Coaches at Club level it can be a lonely furrow to plough and there is little in the way of a support system to help with personal development. The County recognised thais and through Mark Nelson appointed Chris Briers to co ordinate the scheme. There are over 10 Mentors working with 12 + clubs and that number is set to rise as the scheme is now being expanded to include Colts Coaches as well.
