Manchester DPP U13’s – (updated after 23/11/15 @ Wright Robinson)
Firstly the DPP coaches want to thank all players and guardians who attended the rugby training at Wright Robinson. The unusual weather did not affect a great training session. Again all four DPP coaches were very pleased and impressed with the level of commitment, skill and behavior by all players.
Firstly we the coaches had to develop our session so that we could assess certain players skill level. The assessment was carried out on the night and players that will no longer be invited back to the DPP program were told. We fully understand that this will be disappointing especially given their efforts. However all is not lost. We encouraged them to go back to their clubs and work with their individual team coaches to develop and prepare themselves for next season’s selection process. They were individually encouraged to work on the key (and fundamental) areas such as; fitness, grip, pass, catch, lines of running and heads up rugby. Hopefully we will see you next season. (Please note that should any player want feedback on why they have not be taken forward with the U13’s DPP squad then please get your team coach (the person who nominated you) to contact Kate @ (kate@applianceworldonline.com).
Secondly to those players continuing on the U13’s DPP program for the rest of the season. Our next training session is planned for Monday 6th of Jan 2016 at Aldwinians. (This will be confirmed nearer the time so please keep watching the Sales Sharks DPP face-book page and the Lancashire Website.).
