Congratulations to Rachael Woosey
Lancashire sends it's warmest congratulations to Rachel Woosey from Lancashire who recently marked her World Sevens Series debut with a try in the Challenge Trophy Final against Brazil in Sydney this February.
Rachael has been playing the game since she was six years old and emerged through the West Park (StHelens) Junior Development programme.
John Foster, an RFU Community Coach and mentor when she joined girls' rugby at Liverpool St Helens said ' She was probably one of the quickest players in the country in her age group' Rachael then progressed through the Lancashire County Squads.
Last year she played six times for the England U20s adding to her appearance for England U18 Sevens in the National Talent Development group.
