Lancashire RFU are sad to announce that Alan Lambert Widnes RUFC , Liverpool FC and Lancashire County Senior Side has died.
Alan Played throughout the 50’s and 60’s for the Liverpool Club an aggressive uncompromising Wing Forward and was Capped by Lancashire many times. He finished his playing at Widnes RUFC serving for many years as the Chairman of the Grounds and Building Committee. He was also the Asst Treasurer of Lancashire County RFU for some years.
His funeral will be at the Widnes Crematorium on Monday 3rd July at 12 noon.
