Sad to report the death of Ted Hughes. Ted played for Liverpool and Widnes.
He represented Lancashire And played against the Springboks for North West Counties. He also represented the Combined Services and played for the Southern Counties against the Australians. He was an England reserve and played in 3 England trials.
After retirement he served as a Lancashire selector.

His funeral will be at St Luke's Church , Widnes at 1.00pm on Friday 14th July 2017
